Lemon juice on your hair will make it lighter?

It will only lighten your hair gradually and might not show at all on dark hair it won't be an instant result and the normal technique is to just squeeze it on to cover generally and sit in the sun. Its not too damaging for your hair if its just a few times but lemons have acid so certainly don't over do it.
