Question about l discomfort/ irritation?

I was having irritation/ itching a few weeks ago and thought it was the start of a yeast infection especially because I was on an antibiotic (I've had them before while taking antibiotics). I bought vagistat1 which made me swollen sore and itchy (I wouldn't recommend anyone using it at all) My doctor even told me a lot of women have bad reactions to it. So I went into the dr the next morning. OMG the pain. I went in and he said it wasn't a yeast infection and he gave me an antibiotic for it. He said inside I looked normal just that I was red and moist on the outside. The itching stopped and the swelling went down (although the swelling was due to the vagistat). I think it's been about 3 weeks and I'm still having irritation when I cleanse the area. The soap burns certain areas on the it's really weird. I'm using summers eve like I have for about 6 years now. I've also used white dove and it's the same thing. IDK what it could be? burns and I feel really dry. IDK what this could be caused from? Any suggestions or experience with this would help. I know I could use lubricant for the dryness during ... but I'm 23 and shouldn't be having this problem. Thanks for any help.
