Halloween gone too far?

My co-worker dressed up like a confederate soldier. I am black and I sit right next to him. He has worn different pieces of this look before in past years, but this year he wore the whole outfit (without the gun). I am offended. My boss is black and he hasn't said anything. It is in bad taste. He should not have made the decision to put that on this morning. I'm wondering why anyone isn't saying anything. This should offend all people, not just black I think.
