Did more whites own slaves, or did more whites oppose slavery?

I guess you choose to ignore the fact that many of the soldiers were black (on both sides) and that many slave owners were black and that many slaves were white, red and yellow not to mention brown. If you only remember whites as slavers then you need to get a life. The War of Northern Agression was fought nearly 150 years ago and is over and should be finished.
