If you have a ruptured follicle can you still get pregnant?

Ok so i am ovulating right now and i am having some pretty bad cramps. I hear there are many reasons for this and one caught my eye. Sometimes when a woman is ovulating an egg can rupture, which causes mild/bad cramps. So i am wondering if that is to happen can you still get pregnant? How many eggs to you release? Or is it the one and only egg and if it ruptures, you're screwed that month for chances. Please only true information. Thanks :)
