Which bat filling would grt better hits?

for my science fair project i am going to get a bat fill it with lead bbs get 6 batters to get 10 hits the n find the average of each batters hits the get the bat and fill it with water then wood i have a pitching machine to keep the pitching acurate any thing else i need to consider
