How to carry out fundraising for a walk and the money going to charity?

I'm walking 84 miles along hadrian's wall. I'm considering using this oppurtunity to raise money for a charity but I have not done this sort of thing before. I want to ask people in my college to donate so i need some forms. How do i set them out & what columns etc? Thanks
